Stock CV carb for sportster?

Part # for 1996 carb is 2740-96. If you google the part # along with Harley or XL, etc. you should get sites that will tell you it's side. Since it's the same carb. as the 1200, I'd guess it is 40mm.

PN is 27490-96; 40mm. If you are looking for one, I have one in my parts bin.

Just checked the PN and the carb is 27412-99. It is a 40mm CV but came off a 2002 FLHT. The different PNs would indicate that there is some difference, like the way the choke or throttle cable connects, or the orientation of the fuel inlet. The carb body may be the same but the other stuff may be different; just not sure. I would be happy to sell it to you but you would have to decide. I can send pictures if you want.
