About between 3/4 - 7/8 outward pull of lever...seems to feel right with pull and travel if that makes any sense? and have ridden approx 1,100 miles since service,

If you are referring to 3/4-7/8 AWAY from the bar, then this isn't what's causing the problem. If it was that measurement up by the bar like just 1/2" away from the grip to find the friction zone, then you're probably not separating the clutch plates enough and this could be the cause then.

I almost have to let clutch lever all way out to feel friction(or pull from motor) and engine is under NO load when lever is pulled in...
