Steering lock

I bought a low milage 06 street glide in great shape but have 1 issue!! I turn the ignition switch to the sterring lock position but when I put the key in to turn it to lock position the steering lock wont turn! I have tried wd-40 but no luck! Any ideas!!

If it's the same one as on the U/G you must be sure to push the handlebar in the full lefthand lock position and push the ignition switch down before you try to turn the key.

You should be able to leave your steering in any position,put the switch to lock position,not push down on it and only lock the ignition with the key leaving the steering free.This is used when the bike is in transport mode:s
