Stater solenoid chrome cover

Does anyone know how a chrome starter solenoid cover is installed? I'm not sure if the cover goes over the existing cover or replaces it. No instructions came with it.

Remove the three hex head screws in the old cover and just substitute the new for the old.

So your saying to just place the new chrome cover right over the existing cover and use the new chrome screws, correct?

NO. Remove the black cover and install the chrome cover in it's place and then replace the black screws with chrome ones

I've go it, thanks. I replaced the old cover with the new one. I just wasn't sure of that.
