Squeaking when shifting

I bought a used Road King Classic with Sidecar. When it is cold I get this very irritating squeak every time I shift of cut the gas. When it gets warmed up it seems to get better although still happens some. I can not determine if this is a sidecar related thing or something related to the bike itself. The squeak comes from the front. The bike is a 2001 and had only 1000 miles so I wonder if some linkage or maybe the cables need lubrication??? Torque on the sidecar connections? Any others with the same problem?

Sounds like the bike has been in storage.I would suggest doing a full service/inspection.Check all the fastners, lube cables, change fluids, adj. primary and drive belt.Check all the fastners on the side car also.
Also check the shift linkage.
