My ride is a 2002 FXSTSI-Springer Softail. Someone mentioned that at 20,000 miles there are adjustments needed on the front end. I now have 20,000 miles and would like to know if I need to spend my money!
thanks!

i think you should, the lower rocker bearings and head stem will!!! need adjusting, the races in the bottom rockers are small and wear quick, if you dont keep em tight they will wear right through

You definitely need to stay on top of of your maintenence. This site offers alot of help with that, or you can try a qualified shop.

I had an 02 Springer Softail, do yourself a favor and get the work done on the front end by a dealer. Don't mess around, I read an article on another forum where a shop used a springer front end and the top nut was not put on right causing it to come off and he wrecked the bike. Do not skimp on this service or trust just anyone. Everything has to be properly done and properly torqued!
