How do you remove the wheel on a springer fork? I've heard that you need a strap wrench but the one I have (belt kind) won't grip. I'm sorely tempted to put a pipe wrench on it - take it off, and replace the smooth nuts with the hex nuts because I'm gonna booger them up if I do.
Are they left or right hand threads?
