my motorcycle keeps blowing the oil cap off and there is no flow in oil bag...
Thought I had the hoses wrong, but checked and almost 98% sure they are rite. Would my oil pump be bad?
HELP....I'm at a lost, I know lowest point on oil bag is drain, 2nd is main feed there is to behind battery, same height, but only one big hose fits one spot, so I figured that one is the return the other the breather...start up bike, after a min oil lite starts flickering and the cap blows off.....UGH!!! I just want to ride!!! I'm stumped only thing I can figure is oil pump is bad?
 
Are you using the correct oil filter? if you're popping the oil cap you have way to much crankcase pressure. I believe you should have a pressure release ball on the inside of the filter housing, check to make sure it's not stuck. A bad pump is certainly not out of the question.
