speedometer fog

I wash my bike often, (like it clean) but with that,comes the fogging effect inside at the bottom of the glass. (inside the speedometer) does anybody have a cure that will stop this from happening ?:bigsmiley30:

You can try a small hole in the back of the speedo

My 2006 Road King would do it every time it was washed. Only cured it by buying an Ultra. Have heard of the drilling the hole trick. Didn't try it. Fog always cleared after an hour or so operation. I grant you, it is annoying...:wall

Take a blow dryer to it for 30 seconds or so and it will clear it right up:s

If you use an 'Air Force Blaster' to blow dry your bike after washing,you wouldn't need a Hair Dryer.

The warm filtered air from one of these babies is great!

Highly recommended by many on this Forum.(so much so i imported one and love it)

It'll dry your bike all over and WONT annoy your Wife.
