Speedo out of adjustment

To see how far off it is, maybe use your GPS or a buddies GPS. I did on my 09 and I'm going 4mph slower than what the speedo reads.

OK I might be the one screwing things up here, I did not read the post as good as I should have like Hoople did, in my head I was thinking they were to electronic speedo in 97 but it could of been 96.

96 was the first year of the electronic speedo on the sportsters so i canny help here as all my bikes have a bit of wire going to the front wheel
