speakers in a 91 tourglide

Hi, just ordered my manual. Should be here in a week. Did a couple of searches and did not find much. Want to put speakers in my fairing, the old ones are bad. Any ideas how they come out and the tape deck that is in there. Thanks appreciate any help. Greg

Your TourGlide is the forerunner of the RoadGlide. To access the speakers and the radio consol there are 6 screws around the edge of the inner fairing. I always remove the windshield first. Once the screws are removed lift up and pull the outer faring away from the inner fairing. I should add that you need to cover the front finder. Unplug the lights and set the fairing on something soft (Towel). You should now see the back of the speakers and the radio.
