Someone stole things from me

A drunk phoned police to report that thieves had been in his car. "They've stolen the dashboard, the steering wheel, the brake pedal, the radio, and even the accelerator," he cried out.

However, before the police investigation could start, the phone rang a second time and the same voice came over the line. "Never mind," he said with a hiccup, "I got in the back seat by mistake."

Reminds me of getting in my car the morning after a party in Japan. Took a minute to register that the steering wheel was missing. Took another minute to realize I was sitting on the left side of the car. Finally figured I didn't need to go to work that day. If this doesn't make sense to you, visualize driving on the left side of the road.
