softening a leather Jacket

    What kind of teartment does one put on a leather jacket to make it softer

    The cheapest way is saddle soap and alot of elbow grease. It will make lighter colored leathers look a little darker though.

    I use a leather balsam(lord sheraton)great stuff,revitalises old leather,helps make it water resistant,prevents drying out,and polishes as well as making it more supple.Gotta yse it regularly,and requires a little elbow grease.

    Sun, wind, and sweat! (Rolling on the ground at 70 mph works too, but I try to avoid that.)
