Smoking lights

2010 Ultra,bought new last year, 10,000 miles. At the rear fender all the way on the bottom of it, there is a red light. I noticed the other day the lens had about 1/2 inch of water in it. Went for a ride today, no problem. Was going to wash her and looked again at the lens. I noticed it was slightly deformed on the upper left corner.

When I bent down to look closer, I could smell burnt plastic. Pulled the light/trim and found the wire bundle had burnt. Thanks be, I am still under warranty.

Wondering if anyone has had H2O intrusion issues with that or any other lights.

I haven't but a friend with an '10 UC has had his changed twice due to water.

I had the same problem with my 2010 EGC It took 3 years but it died. I found a new one on EBay for half of the price of one from the dealer
