Smelly problems

Any mild oxidizer like peroxide, bleach, vinegar will help. Several applications may be necessary. Whew!!!
 
Skunk spray is indeed oil based. Anything that will cut oil will help. Dawn liquid and hydrogen peroxide mixture is what I have always used. At times, I have mixed it with lemon juice. Not sure of the paint aspects of things since i have only used it on our dogs.
 
Tried the vodka recipe, the bike still smells, but now I don't really care. Actually I used Dawn soap, scrubbed (a lot), rinsed, and then 240 miles in the wind. The smell's gone. Thanks for all the suggestions guys.

Ha-ha-ha, like that remedy. If nothing else when you have enough you will start making up songs about "how sweet it is"
