Smacked by a cage, can frame be fixed?

When I get one I suspect is totaled, I go over it with a microscope and list every nut, washer, gasket on the estimate. Only had 1 bike questioned so far, and they wound up totaling it out. Then the service writer adds labor to it, which usually runs 20-23 hours.

Well, I finally got her back. 3 months and $6,000 later, she's just like new. Minus the upside down saddlebag lock, the inop. fuel gauge light and the wrong valve stem cover. All minor items that the dealer will be correcting this weekend. Frame wasn't damaged. Still goes down the road, true.

Congrats on getting your "other little girl" back!

Safe riding!

PS. Why does it seem that ALL bike repairs are $6000 and take 3 months (mine was the same, back in 2003!).
