About slip-ons again, finally found the one that I want, S&S tapered slip-ons, but the shop order the wrong ones, anybody know the exact part number for a 08 Heritage, I think there the same as the ones that goes on a softail standart, anyone knows? just want to be sure before I make the trip again to the shop
 
Hi, I just checked the online S&S catalog here: SS Catalog, and it seems they do not have a part number for the 08 Heritage. I would assume that mufflers from an 07 softail standard would fit an 08 heritage, since the catalog groups the 00 - 06 standard and heritage in the same group. However, I would make sure the shop confirms this with their supplier or S&S before ordering, since they ordered the wrong ones once already. The PN for the tapered 07 standard is 55-6040. What is the PN of the ones you got?
