sissy bar pads

Does anyone know where I can buy a THIN pad for my sissy bar?
Does anyone know or have experience with 'cutting' down existing pad?

My wife says she has less room on the Road King than my old Heritage. The RK does have a nice THICK - seems almost 3" thick - sissy bar pad. When I remove the pad all together, the feel is OK - but I think some sorta pad would be nice.

If I were in your situation I would try cutting down the pad
I would remove the foam from the backrest and cut it down from the rear side of the foam to leave the front face smooth
I have never done this to a backrest bad but I have stripped a seat base and cut a gel pad into the seat
Here is a link to the thread I did on the seat

Brian, thanks for the tip and link. If I can't find a thin pad I just will have to try cutting this one. OR I just might leave the pad off all together and see how she likes that.
