Sissy Bar Install

I am trying to install a sissy bar on my 01 Fatboy. I have the bar and the rigid mount chrome side plates, however, I am having difficulty taking off the bolts that attach to the rear fender. There seems to be a nut holding it in place and it keeps spinning as I turn it. Am not sure I can get a wrench in there to hold it in place as there is not much clearance with the back tire. Sorry to be a dumb (EDIT)but anyone have any ideas? Thanks...Rick

You can absolutely get a wrench in there. Get and open end wrench and go from the front. I did it about 50 times in the past month due to various reasons. Just feel your way around the fender and you will find and opening. Worst case scenario lift the bike till the rear wheel drops enough for you to stick hand in there.
