Shut down

Haven't been out all week, so after work I went and got my bike, right after I turned out of my garage it shut down and the check engine light came on. I just all the fluids and they are fine. The bike did start back up but every time I put the stand up to go it would shut off again. Any ideas what this could be? She's a 04 fatboy.

Hard to say until you determine if it is fuel or spark that is missing when this happens.

Give us some more symptoms. When it dies, are all the electrical systems off (light, dash, etc.) or just ignition. Does it restart immediately, or do you have to turn off the switch and then back on?
