I know my bike doesn't look custom, but take another look at it! It looks like a 1997 Heritage Softail. What it really is, is a '97 883. Engine and frame '97 883. Everything else, is '97 Heritage Softail. Well, everything but the S&S carb, Buell "Lightening" heads and Python pipes. So, what do ya think?

Here is a bike I built over '08-'09from the ground up.
Specs: Frame: Rigid 6" up, 4"out, 45 degree neck, 2" backbone, 250 rear, powdercoated
Motor: Harley evo w/S&S bottom end 89" stroker (hence forum name:s)
Transmission: Road Max 5-speed right side drive
Primary: Harley
Front end: Donnie Smith 9"over Girder spinger with Progressive shock
Wheels: Rear 250mm x 18" w/Avon Venom tire Front 21" w/ Avon Venom
Exhaust: Martin Brothers
Seat: Don LaRosa springer

I did not build it to show but one of my riding buddies talked me into entering it into a local show and I took best custom and best in show.

I have a 97 Heritage and at first glance you had me completly fooled.

Beautiful build! I'm thinkin of putting a larosa seat on my 09 fat bob - any comments about the seat? Is it comfortable on longer rides?

Seat is not bad but it is very stiff, padding is maybe 1/2" thick and has a very heavy leather on it, shape is comfortable and it is pretty wide, It is a very well made seat though.
Can't tell you much about riding it for long periods, the longest I've been on it at a time is an hour at a time.
