:small3d012:What would cause my spark plugs to gas foul out no matter what settings I put on my adjustable main jet Bendix on my 77 superglide?

Could it be the low speed jet instead? I'm not familar with that carb, so just a thought.

Check the float level and the needle and seat, Bendix used to be a very good carb when it was American made:s

Do you have the right heat range on the plugs? Wires OK too?

Try using Autolite 4265 plugs. I used champions for a while and had a lot of fouling problems. Switched to Autolite, no more problems.

This is a fairly old thread, but here is a Shovelhead US info site that may help you find exploded diagrams and tune that carb and such...
