Shock Upgrade

I want to change my rear shocks to something taller.
Anyone know of any rear shocks that have chrome sleeves on them like the stock shocks on my Fat Bob? If not, the Ricor's look nice and will probably be the way I go.
Also, what do I need to do to the front? Springs, Heavier oil? My goal is more ride hight to lean better and provide additional dampening.

Hmmm. Going TALLER is gonna raise the CoG and will affect the perceived stability of the bike.

On your Dyna, if you raise the rear of the bike with taller shocks, you should raise the front forks the same amount. This will require longer tubes and springs, and more fork oil volume.

Before doing all that, you might try setting the rear shocks to a stiffer setting and adding about a 1/4" of oil to both sides of the front shocks. Measure both, and then on the highest one (lowest air gap) add about 1/4" of oil (reduce the air gap by 1/4"). Bring the other one up to the same level. This should stiffen up the front end. If not enough, try another 1/4".

TQ
