shifter linkage

I had one of the stock ends come apart about 60 miles from home. Was able to limp home with a couple of nylon zip ties. Never had a problem with the aircraft type ends.

I used zip ties on my fxrs; they melted, so I went to bailing wire. Five years later, I had the end replaced. Never had a problem.

Currently using bailing wire on one end of my 03 RG shifter...waiting for a replacement. Works fine as is, though.

we were about 700 miles from home on the way to jackson hole when it fell apart. two zippy ties held toghter for the last 300 miles were i was able get the good one to replace it
