Can anyone tell me the difference between the shift arm on street glide and a softail ? The reason I am asking is, I am looking at this Kryakyn - Harley - Zombieâ„¢ Shift Arm Cover, but they say it will only fit on touring models. anyone know why

the number of splines on the shaft?

Looks like it fits the models without the B Motor. Probably something in the way the front of the motor is made or where the shaft comes through and hooks up.
