September Ride

Left Duluth in 37 F temps and clear skies at 7 this morning. Headed up north on 53 to International Falls. The highway is twined to approx. 80 miles out of Duluth and they're working on another 10 or so to get twined. Nice ride but I am getting tired of trees. Feels like riding in a tunnel.
Once back in Canada, I headed east on 17 to Emo for lunch and then 17 turns north to Kenora. Great scenery along that whole stretch. Got home by 4:30.

Put on about 4400 kms (~2700 miles) in 6 days and loved every minute of it...even the rain.

A few pics of where Eastern Standard time starts when riding in Ontario. And a couple pics of Lake Superior north of Sault Ste. Marie.

I had tried to take pics of the Mackinac Bridge but I messed up and ended up with a video. :bigsmiley30:

did you get a chance to make it out to Mackinac Island? thats a cool place to visit.

That's something I'll have to do when my better half is with me. At that point in the trip my goal was to get home for the weekend and spend the time with Froggie before we both are back at work next week.
