secret?

    whats the secret to get that little clip out the holds the throttle and idle cable in the switch housing? snap ring pliers won't come close to fitting in there.

    No secret, just pull on them to get them out.

    It seems to me you are referring to the little clip that holds the stud in for the brake handle , If so I use a dental pic , be careful it flys at times, but as pork chop said just loosen them off and gently pull

    Use a small screwdriver between the housing and the lip and just pop them out. It's a spring tension snap ring sort of deal and they just pull out. Back off the adjuster first.
