Seal Replacement, Inner Primary, Clutch Shaft

Is the replacement of the seal for the shaft that the clutch is on, in the inner primary, a DIY job? Can it be done without pulling the engine? What special tools are needed? I have some seepage from that area, and it seems to be getting worse kinda fast...from nothing to significant in a few hundred miles.

I figure there is a thread but I don't know what to call the seal.
