SE Slip ons

Has anybody altered the baffles on the SE slip ons? If you did does it mess up the back compression?

Didn't alter the baffle itself but did remove the converter. Seems to run much cooler but changed headpipes at same time. Sound iproved also.

I removed the built in cat and also removed the fiberglass packing. Didn't notice any temp difference, but sounds much better and seems to pull a bit better. Mine are on an ST.

You can play with the baffles and not get in to too much trouble IMO, I have made exhaust splitters for back pressure issues while running fish tail drags on Baggers and had good results:s

Not sure how long they have been on. I got the bike in January 2011 with 4,200 miles on it. It was already opened up and had the SE slip ons. I just put am K&N air filter on it and took the bell cover off the air cleaner..
