SE Air Filter

Just had my SE air filter installed to go with my V&H pipes. Wanted to put on the SE logo on the cover, but did not want to scratch up the chrome trying to get off the original logo. Anyone already taken off the logo with success?

I have removed them with a heat gun, then some thinners to get off any adhesive that may remain. Done carefully they are reusable or make a nice clock face for the garage.

I would go with removal of cover and saturate logo with WD-40. Let sit a couple of minutes and logo should pull right off. If any globs of glue left use more WD-40 then clean with soap and water.

Take the cover off and heat on the inside with a hot air gun, glue should become tacky and you will be able to ease it off as the cover has been heated most of the residual glue should stick to the logo
I would then use some paint thinners or pre paint to clean the cover prior to sticking the new logo on
