Screaming Eagle Slip-on Baffle Question

I bought my 2007 Ultra Classic and the previous owner installed Screaming Eagle slip-ons but my wife and I don't think they sound as good as my old EG's non-baffled pipes...

Can the SE's baffles be removed? I have them off and was looking at them...seems to be a very tight fit. End cap bolts are removed but the baffles won't budge. The are slash cuts so just turning them up and pounding wont work.

Any ideas short of buying new slip-ons???

They are a bear to remove but it can be done.Having said that you have to be aware that your 96" T/C motor will suffer with the lack of back pressure that is created when you run open pipes.

Anything else done to the bike.I run a open end exhaust on my 2010 RGC with opposite results(runs better) Air cleaner change, stage 1 download? Once you have the baffles out and you do have a performance issue, you can cut the baffles down and put them back in.Increase of sound and still have some back pressure
