Screaming Eagle carb.

Can someone explain the difference between a standard Mikuni HSR 42 and a Mikuni HSR 42 Screaming eagle (apart from the S.E. stamp on the top cover)
I can't find anything on the Mikuni or HD.Screaming eagle sites

Can't say for the difference with the carbs but did notice that you are a contributor and with just 3 posts. I am impressed.......... welcome to the forum and someone more familiar with the carb. answer is soon to come along.

The Mikuni hsr 42 is a good carb i have fitted one to each of my big twins and the work a lot better in my environmental conditions that the stock cv i don't know of any difference although the one sold by hd will have an hd stamp and hd price to match

I believe the only difference is cosmetic (polished and stamped). I rejetted a S.E. for a friend, and everything I touched was identical to my 42 Mikuni. Excellent carb IMO.

I haven't got so many posts 'cause I spend more time riding and working on the bike then talk about it

just what I was thinking , put a stamp on and it cost u another 100 $.
