got a set of these big guns today at swap meet no baffles in them my question is do I need to to take my 2006 softy deluxe in to have efi readjusted, would you recommend baffles
 
If you are doing a fuel exhaust, yes. Baffles, they are really only going to quiet them down a little, those are pretty loud pipes, that will be a personal preference.
 
JMO ----- Never would have bought them with out the baffles in them in first place. Not being a smart-mouth here either!!! Never cared for the sound coming out of a set of muffs without them!!
 
3+ for the baffles...they really don't soften the bass note, just the shrill high tones, and you won't set off near as many alarms going down the neighborhood. I run straight drag pipes, put on 12" baffles ($12 from Drag Specialties) and everyone including the admin at the front desk at my work appreciated them (no more window rattles when I pull up in the early mornings.:D
