S&S engine

Im looking at a 1990 FB with a S&S engine . The heads and rest of the engine has a yellow stripe high light . around the heads .
S&S have been around for a while . How hard are parts to get for this engine ? are harley parts enterchangeable to some extent ?
What are your oppinions on the S&S engine?

Do the heads look like this? This is what the stock Fat boy looked like, S and S is a top notch product

Parts are abundant for these engines. IMO many parts are interchangeable S ans S is higher quality IMO and does more R and D thru racing with their parts

Yes it is . The guy said it was an S&S engine.

If you get the numbers off the cases and call S&S they can tell you the size. They may be able to tell you the Mfg. date also.
