Seems that HD is getting out of the Engine Reman business. So for those of you that do not want to tackle that job on your own, here is an alternative from S&S:

I wonder what the additional cost the dealer would charge for the leg work needed in following the instructions to prepare and ship engine, and what would the mark up be.

Not sure. And I don't know if S&S will accept the engine from an individual rather than a shop. If interested, contact S&S and ask them and then let us know.
