S.E. 103 stage 4- cam options

well here i was thinking the idea of the stage 4 kit was for top end, but if you put a pair of SE258 cams in it will shift the peak down a bit. maybe the stage 3 would be a better engine choice.

A few months ago jlbeebe was having this same issue. He had just bought a heritage with a SE Stage 4 103 and found that it was too soft on the bottom also. He ended up going with a Woods TW 400-6 cam set. It was just what the Dr. ordered. Here is the thread on this discussion and he even posted the dyno sheet for it after he was done.

A Wood 400 is a GREAT choice.
Set that cam at 10.5-6, and make sure you have a head that'll move about 165 cfm @ .650" lift, at 10".:D
