So after my rebulild this winter I have been struggling with the rockers , especially the bottom seal around the spacer. after 3 tries by myself and 2 tries by my mechanic, I think we figured it out.
After buying new middle spacers and uppers online we have realized I was sold top covers for a 89 and spacers for a 91 and up. I guess the diferences are noticable and will rip the gaskets after a few miles. So if purchasing new stuff even if you order it right for your bike if you have something to match it to look before you install and save yourself the headache.
