Rock haed air shocks

I bought some air shocks from eBay. There 12 inch as to lower my bike 1inch.
Problem is these things are rock hard no matter what pressure is in them.
Are they Blown ? I would think them to be weak if blown But hey I'm usually wrong on these things anyways. Thx....

I do not know but i wanted to reply. try to compress in hydraulic press maybe.

Or was the oil changed for a heavier oil???

That could be glider but even at 10 wt it didnt make it that much stiffer when i did mine it would have to be really heavy wt oil

Maybe that's why they were on ebay? After the previous owner found the heavy oil didn't do what he thought it would?

that could be but oil is simple to change

another question are they harley air shocks? or a no name
