risers: straight vs pull back?

I've got a mostly-stock '09 dyna that I'm lookin to raise the handlebars to shoulder or near-shoulder level by changing the risers (not going apes).
My question is: once you get +6 inch risers, how much difference is there in str8 risers vs pullback risers? any other consideration to take into account between the two?

Because the triple tree is at a slight angle, the actual pullback will be larger
than advertised. I put 4" risers with 1" pull back on my '92 Dyna, and the bars were way too close to my body.

I'm figuring I'll have to replace the cables w/ longer ones.
