Any one out there recently restored, or know someone, who has restored a 1974 XLH? I am getting ready to start my project bike. I plan on going slow and easy. I am giving myself 5 years to complete. I hope I don't run into to many snags along the way. It would be nice to be done in less than the 5 years.

I haven't done an XL but just recently did a '73 FXE to an FL. You can do a search for New Project Bike to see my post. I wouldn't think it would take 5 yrs. though, depending on your budget.

    This should be the link.

I am saying 5 years so that I can pay as I go. I am hoping to do it quicker.
