After going to a 95" Big Bore and ported heads this past winter, my '06 Heritage was running great with the exception of the first 3-4 minutes after a cold start. After digging a little I found I have the 8 degree injectors 27625-06 and should really have the 25 degree injectors 27709-06. The 25 degree injectors are mentioned as the solution for cold starting problems in M1185 service bulletin and are also used in the CVO models.
Anyone have instructions on swapping the injectors? I'll check for the parts at the local dealer this week but would like to get an understanding of how they are replaced. I assume the tank needs to come off for this one.
