Has anyone repacked their Rush Slip-ons? If so what have you used? I just pulled my baffles out tonite and the packing is full of sut and is real brittle. What have you used to tie down the packing to the baffle?

I've had very good results repacking baffles with fiberglass cloth. You can buy it at a hardware store. Use wire (16ga.) to hold the fiberglass cloth in place. Wrap the baffles tight with a minimum of 3/8" of cloth thickness or more. The fiberglass cloth won't burn out like the fiberglass wool.

Best I have found is the rope they use to seal the doors on a wood stove! then wire to tie it down. Nice and don't come apart like the fiberglass.
