I have rented several times. Once when we went to Gatlinburg, the experience was very pleasant and no problems, you will need to have a credit card for deposit.
Back in 2012, I was sent a $200 voucher as well. It covered what they called a short weekend, i.e., picked the bike up on Saturday morning and returned it Monday, they were closed Sunday. It was when the 103 was introduced to production, we rented an Ultra Ltd, everything was covered except insurance.

I've heard of minimum 2 days rental at a few dealerships. Enjoy the ride.

This is probably dependent on time of year, day of week, and whether any rallies or similar events are going on nearby. I have never had a problem renting for one day but I always was renting on a weekday.
