When changing the cams you have to remove the front pipe. This can be the worst part of the job. You can almost slip the pipe out but the pipe is 1/4'' to long to slip the pipe out so I use a rachet strap tied around the rear exhaust pipe and anchor it to the rear of the saddlebag mount and give the rachet a couple of cranks. This will move the exhaust rearward and give you the gap required to remove the front pipe.
