IM really struggling to remove the battery from my fat boy any ideas?
On a Sportster and, I think, a Dyna, it helps to remove the negative battery cable from its connection to the frame down near the starter. Never done it on a Softail.
i cant seem to get my screwdriver to the terminals ive tried lifting it up but it wont come up
You really need to get a manual. It sounds like the hold down strap is still in place. On the Sportster the bolt that holds the strap is hard to see unless I get on my hands and knees.
Get the manual. It will make your life much easier.
