I have an 08 softail that is fuel injected. I just ordered vance and hines pipes for it with the screaming eagle air filter. I know I have to remap it would it be ok to drive the bike with the stock air filter on and the new pipes until the part to remap it comes in.
Just pipes and you can slip by but try not to do too much in miles running lean. Even with just the pipes it still leans it out a bit even thou you have the 02 sensors. Some say it's alright to do but then again, it's not their bike.
