Regarding codes

Had a lot of sputtering.checked the codes and it came up map sensor. Needless to say i changed it but after 1 hr started sputtering again,couldn,t figure it out as i m realy not a wrench.so i brought it to dealer.they said it was the map sensor,i was surprised anyway after all said and done turns out the induction module had a hairline crack just thought i would share.

Great info but just curious. After you changed the map sensor yourself did you clear the code?

It's really strange how a vacuum leak (?) threw a map code on a FI bike.

yes i did clear the codes,the bike is still in the shop,so i am assuming that the crack is causing the problem.with the codes
