Redline oil

Quick update. A couple weeks with RL motor and tranny oil. Some early feedback (not scientific at all).

1) Similar valve train noise when using M1 V-twin as the RL 20-50.

2) I ran in 90+ conditions and the tranny seemed to shift smoother/quieter after riding for 20-30 min, but slighty more pressure needed before the fluid warmed up.

3) When I checked the tranny fluid level, man that stuff is thick. It seems it gets thrown all over the place inside as you have to wipe down the entire dipstick. With Spectro, it seems alot thinner when I checked it when it was hot. No issue or complaint, but just my observation.

As for the oil cooler... seems to be working fine, but I do not have a oil temp gauge so can not tell for sure.

Ride safe and have fun.

The Red line and Spectro are both excellent choices. I switched to Spectro because of just what you experienced shifting until the Red Line warmed up a bit. Never had that problem with the Spectro.
