Rear Wheel Cone Nut Size

On 07 Road King I believe the rear wheel nut is 36MM am I right?

Correct. 36mm is the size for the rear axle nut. Great if you have a 36mm socket, but before you buy one and have a 1 1/2", be careful and give it a shot.

That's what is on my 08 Heritage, would imagine it to be the same.

That's the size for my '09 Heritage also... I found these sockets at Auto-zone & Pep Boys. Somewhere around $14-18. Good quality too.

My 07 FLHR has a 36 mm rear axle nut.

Sears has 36mm socket.

Pit posse axle wrench provides access to one side without muffler removal.

I have the Pit posse wrench and it's a good quality wrench and worth the additional bucks IMO.

Glider is correct. The Pit Posse has the fitting to accept a 3/8" torque wrench so you can properly torque nut to 100 ft lbs......
