What year?

If it is an 06-08, you have a 160/70-17 as stock tire. You can easily go to the optional Screaming Eagle GT502 180/60B17 "Wide Tire" if you are running stock height shocks on the back.

Harley recommends the use of the Wide Tire Kit, which has extra components included with the tire to secure the rear signal wiring and protect it from rubbing. You can find these kits for about $250.00.

You can find the 180 tire separately for about $170.00. If you are at stock height and you make sure the signal wiring is tucked tight against the inner surfaces of the rear fender, you can get away with only the tire and not have the additional expensive of the kit.

NOTE: A lot of dealers will not mount the 180 tire without the use of the kit. You may have to go to an indy for installation.

There are guys who have successfully mounted 200 tires. These require you go from the stock 4.5" width rim to a 5.5". A spacer is also needed to move the belt pulley a fraction of an inch.

If you have an 05 or older, disregard the above and apologize for making me type so much...LOL.

I just installed a SE180 without any issues. If you have lowered your bike you will have issues.
